SCIENTIA NOVA Association participated in the learning activity titled RECYCLE OLD INTO NEW – Re-writing Practices to Enhance Imagination with Supporting Foreign Language Skills from the Erasmus+ project LANGUAGE LEARNING VIA LITERATURE in Targu Jiu, Romania organized by the school COLEGIUL NAȚIONAL SPIRU HARET.

Activities:

Visits to the Palace of the Parliament, Căsuța Răsturnată, Baia de Fier  (Overturned house), Pădurea Colorată (Colored Forest), Horezu.

Recycle old into new – presentation of each school.

Heroes of my imagination– exhibition of digital drawings and short presentation by the Romania team.

Discover Târgu Jiu: The History Museum “Alexandru Ștefulescu”

Central Park- Constantin Brâncuși’s sculptures – The Kissing Gate, The Silent Table, Iosif Keber’s House, The Endless Column

Visit to Sibiu: Valea Zânelor (Clay Castle of the Valley of fairies -), Povestea Calendarului (The Calendar’s Story), Brukental Palace, The Bridge of Lies.

Debate: Famous writers and/ or poets – Do you know your cultural heritage?

Workshops:  – Mărtițor (spring’s symbol), folk craftsman, folk exhibition

Creative workshop (each participant created traditional motifs on clay pots)

Visit to Bucharest – The Antipa Museum and The Village Museum.
